My Birthday

It’s late I know, but I didn’t get a chance to blog on it at the time.

As you may or may not know, it was my birthday on the 9th – I’m now 22, so I’m slowly getting older. With this old age comes brokeness as my doctor won’t tell you because of doctor patient confidentiality, but I’ll find out if I really am broken when they get my test results back.

I had a good birthday. even though it wasn’t anything special. Mum and Dave and Mick came over and we got a curry in from Chineham Indian which was nice.

I got loads of yummy presents – Not that they are edible so aren’t actually tasty. Nearly all of them I actually chose myself, but for me being me, that’s probably the best way. I got myself a shiny new NetGear access point so I can take over Basingstoke with our wireless network, some awesome new RAM for my PC which gives me 4 delicious gigabytes of the stuff now, and although still waiting for it to arrive in the post, my network storage device. Dad bought me a 500GB SATA-II hard disk to go in it which leaves me to buy another later in the year to sort out the RAID on it. Frances also very kindly bought me Rainbow Six Las Vegas 2 for the PS3 after buying me the first one earlier in the year for working on her PC so much, so thanks to everyone for my goodies. Mum also got me a new bag for karting my laptop around in London, as the Xerox supplied laptop bag wasn’t doing my back any good with all the weight of the laptop, cables and paperwork etc on one shoulder, not to mention that the fact that I have so much stuff it was overflowing with tech-ness.

All I need to do now, is hook up the network cables I ran half way through the house and I can start using the new network toys and finally take over the world 🙂
