I started this blog back in 2006, back when me and my wife Nicky where having our first daughter Madison. It started out as a blog for us to share thoughts and events throughout the pregnancy and birth, however over the course of time it has slowly but progressively evolved into a place for me to talk about technology.

It’s powered by WordPress, and designed with my own custom theme, designed to represent the Windows Phone 7 Metro user interface also found in Zune. Previosuly known as Baby-Green Blog, I moved the site from our personal domain to it’s own dedicated domain and renamed the blog to Richard J Green: The Mostly Technological Ramblings. Although the title may seem long winded it fits perfectly as this blog consists of technology wafflings and intruiges as I surf my way through the technology universe, whilst scattering it with commentry about other topics in my life such as motorbikes, photography or the like.

My name is Richard James Green (Richard J Green for all intents and purposes), an IT professional currently working in the retail sector for Prmark Stores Ltd, based out of their head offices in Reading, while living in Basingstoke. How to Contact Me

If you wish to contact me about the blog, a personal matter or a business or technical matter, you should look to contact me via one of the advertised social network channels as I don’t want to publicly advertise my email address thanks to the spammers. I regulary tweet and follow others, making this the most readily available form of communication. Feel free to add me as a Skype contact and communicate that way also if you’re a Skyper yourself.
