After a night of GT5 Prolouge fun and cider with a friend over last night the monster duo awoke like any normal morning and some ungodly hour. After sorting bottles, and the normal early morning amnesia run and being out of bed and back to bed etc, I eventually noticed it had snowed. Knowbody cared to tell me that the weather forecast had been saying this for the last few days.
So this is the sight I woke up to. Pretty cool for the start of April – Global warming I guess.
As we had a friend over, I thought it was only just that I went to McDonalds to buy us all a tasty, delicious and also healthy breakfast – The Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin meal
I cleared the snow from the car and I would say at a guess there was about four inches of it.
After I got back and we ate breakfast, it was only right that with this much snow and being that snow like this is in England happens about once every decade, I felt we should’ve let Maddy play in the snow and it would only be right if we built a snowman. The only problem was that I didn’t think it was true to the modern times to call it a snowman – A little sexist I felt, so we decided to make a snow-transgender. Here’s the pic:

Pretty isn’t it – Can’t really say he or she, so I’ll just leave it as it for now.
After building the snowperson and having a little snowball fight Maddy decided that it might be time to try to experience the snow, as up until this point she had been stood in the doorway to the back garden watching us because she didn’t like the snow.
She was exactly the same with grass for the first time and sand for the first time also, so it was kind of to be expected. The only trouble is snow doesn’t happen often enough for her to have a chance to get used to it.
Hopefully the next time it snows she will be a little more interested in it.
Anyway. After many attempts to get her outside in the snow, she finally came outside and decided to join in the snowball fight although she didn’t like the first few snowballs I made for her because they where obviously too big for her liking, but after I made some smaller one’s for her she was ok with it.
