Hey Baby Green readers!
Well a busy week has been had by us. Last weekend I had the cold from hell, still got the sniffles now, but I thought last weekend I wanted to die!
We spent last Saturday doing nothing all day cos I felt so bad, then went to my Mum’s on Sunday to do a shift in the pub for her, but I slept for a couple of hours of it and couldn’t wait to get home for a bath and an early night.
Monday my Dad came over, we did loads in the garden, mowing lawns, cutting bushes back and while I was having an afternoon nap Rich and my Dad made me a raised border to plant all my flowers in, which when I woke up I did, and looks so pretty!
Back to work Tuesday
but only for two days as I got to work from home Thursday and Friday which is really handy at the moment cos travelling is a pain, and I have one very swollen foot.
Had a midwifes appointment Friday lunchtime, and the trainee midwife told me baby was breech! The full trained one disagreed but they sent me off to the hospital for a scan anyway, and the trained midwife was right, it was head down and had been for at least the last month! Silly trainee making us worry.
We also now have very shiny new patio doors, it makes the room look so so much brighter as they white UPVC rather than dark wood colour, and we been making use of them today while doing some gardening again. Rich made us a new border at the back where there is no grass and I weeded the beds to the side as they were full of weeds and roots, is looking much much better now ( Will take some pics soon) and then we finished off by putting some weed and feed on the grass so hopefully in the next week or so the weeds will go and we will have a greener lawn. Next stage after that is to put some grass seed down in the worst areas near the back of the garden where the grass is quite bare, and hopefully by summer we will have a lucious lawn!
We off out tonight to a race night at Dan’s cricket club and then hopefully to look at a car tomorrow, so will keep you posted on how that goes!
Oh and 3 1/2 weeks to go till Alex arrives! How damn scary is that!
Nicky x
